Welcome to Lamifil's whistleblower reporting channel
A whistleblower is someone who reports serious misconduct, such as illegal, unethical, dangerous or socially harmful behaviour, internally or externally — often confidentially or anonymously — with the aim of protecting the public interest, and who is protected from retaliation.
Anyone can be a whistleblower, whether you are an employee, consultant, customer, supplier, shareholder, volunteer, intern, former employee or even someone attending a job interview who encounters information about activities that he or she considers unethical or illegal. You are considered a whistleblower when you report certain concerns and violations in good faith, or when you have reasonable grounds to suspect such violations.
At Lamifil, we encourage you to speak up if you witness unethical, illegal or unfair behaviour. This may include (but is not limited to):
- Discrimination or (sexual) harassment, bullying, violence in the workplace, abuse of power or position of authority, violation of human rights;
- Corruption and bribery, such as giving preference to certain parties in exchange for money or benefits, or giving/receiving inappropriate gifts with a value greater than €250,-;
- Fraud and deception, such as falsifying records, misuse of subsidies, administrative reports or accounts, tax fraud;
- Violation of laws and regulations, such as deliberate non-compliance with safety regulations, permits, labour laws or internal procedures;
- Breach of integrity, including activities that conflict with Lamifil's interests;
- Environmental risks, such as illegal discharges or concealing environmental pollution;
- Deliberate disregard for health and safety risks, such as unsafe working conditions or concealing risks to employees or the public;
- Waste or misuse of resources, such as unnecessary expenditure or personal enrichment at the expense of the organisation;
- Manipulation or suppression of information, for example falsifying reports or withholding crucial information from regulators or the public;
- Violation of privacy and personal data protection.
